Sometimes the littlest things take up the most room in your heart.
From their tiny toes to their delicate eyelashes, your new baby is completely perfect. From the moment they enter the world, they will become the centre of yours forever. Babies change constantly especially in their first few weeks of life, and by booking a newborn photography session at this fleeting time you will always remember just how tiny they were.
The days after your baby is born will be quite a blur. Your newborn session will give you a moment to slow down and really enjoy some precious time as a family. Your session will take place during the first 14 days of your baby’s life because they are still very sleepy at this stage and will naturally want to curl up into all those gorgeous positions.
All my newborn sessions are carried out in my dedicated studio. It is kept warm for baby and is a very relaxing environment for you to sit back and rest. Sessions are always baby led, with frequent breaks for feeding and calming your baby. I will never rush a session and I will take as much time as needed to create beautiful photographs of your new addition.
When to book your newborn photography session
A lot of parents choose to book their space after their 12 or 20 week scan, so I am often booked up at least a month or two in advance. I book a limited number of newborn sessions per month to allow for early and late babies, so I recommend that you contact me before your baby arrives to ensure that your space is secured.
However, if you have recently had your baby and would like to book in a newborn session, please do contact me. There might be a possibility that I have a space for you – I will always do my best to squeeze you in!
