1) SESSION FEES
The session fee covers the photographers time and talent only, it does not include any images (unless for Bump to Baby and My First Year bundles) and is due at time of booking via an electronic invoice. Session fees taken for any photography session are non-refundable except in the event Blissful Dreams Photography cancels the booking.
Packages cannot be split between multiple shoots. If booking two or more shoots you will be expected to select your favourite images from each session at the time then purchase the appropriate package, the same process is followed for each shoot thereafter.
We understand that children can be unpredictable and fall ill at any time. In the event of sickness prior to the session, the Client agrees to make every possible effort to inform Blissful Dreams Photography no later than 3 hours prior to the start time of the photography session. The session can be transferred to a new date which will be at the convenience of both parties. If the Client fails to reschedule within a 4 week time period, Blissful Dreams Photography has the right to cancel the booking with the session fee payment made non-refundable. If a client is a no show, there will be a rebooking fee charged. With regards to a cake smash session please see below about cancellation.
4) CANCELLATION OF CAKE SMASH SESSION
Because the cake is made to order, Cake Smash sessions must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. If less notice than this is given, a £20 cake fee will be charged to rebook the session, whatever the reason for the cancellation. The £20 fee covers the cost of the additional cake.
Blissful Dreams Photography shall be entitled to use their judgement regarding the style and flow of the session. This includes but is not limited to poses, props and number of images taken. Due to the willingness of subjects it may not be possible to capture all the pictures requested, or images to the client’s full expectations. In the event of uncooperative children at a session, for any reason, Blissful Dreams Photography may not be able to capture any or all the images the Client may have requested or expected. The Client is responsible for all children at all sessions.
6) PRICE OF PRODUCTS
Session fees do not include any images or products (unless for Bump to Baby and My First Year bundles). Upon booking a session please make sure you have fully viewed the price guide. It is presumed every Client has read the price guide. As a guide clients generally spend between £295 -£445 following any session.
7) FULFILLMENT OF OBLIGATIONS
Blissful Dreams Photography shall not be liable to the Client for any failure, in whole or in part, to fulfil her obligations where failure arises as a result of an event or circumstances beyond her control, which may include (but are not limited to) equipment failure, inclement weather, illness or injury. The Client understands and accepts that the photographic coverage will be as Blissful Dreams Photography’s professional expertise determines. Special requests are not binding instructions although every effort is made to comply with the Client’s wishes. In the unlikely event of total photographic failure or cancellation of the contract by Blissful Dreams Photography liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
8) ARTISTIC INPUT – IMAGES
Blissful Dreams Photography shall be entitled to use their judgement regarding the style and artistic input in the production of pictures. The editing process is a large part of the finished image and reflects the artistic style of Blissful Dreams Photography. Any images that the Client orders are fully edited. Raw files are not available for purchase by the Client.
9) PROOFS/VIEW AND ORDER SESSION
There is no guarantee that any particular number of proofs will be produced. Proofs will be available to view straight after the photo shoot and clients may order their chosen images at this time. Where an online gallery is used to view proofs, all orders must be placed within 3 days. For all orders, payment is due in full at time of order. Monthly installments can be arranged on request; however clients will not receive their order until full payment has been made. All portrait orders are final and cannot be changed or refunded for any reason.
10) COPYRIGHT & REPRODUCTION
Copyright is retained by Blissful Dreams Photography at all times. No image can be copied, scanned or reproduced in any form whatsoever without the prior consent of Blissful Dreams Photography. The Client may not alter or add to or manipulate a picture by any means without Blissful Dreams Photography’s written permission. Permission to reproduce a picture for personal use (not commercial) is granted to the Client by Blissful Dreams Photography only when digital images are purchased and paid in full by the Client.
11) USE OF PICTURES
Blissful Dreams Photography will always gain written permission from the client to use any images for the purposes of social media, website portfolio, advertising or publication.
12) RECEIPT OF PORTRAITS, WALL ART OR PRODUCTS
All orders are presumed to have been received in good condition unless the Client notifies Blissful Dreams Photography in writing of any discrepancy or error within 14 days of receipt.
13) COOLING OFF PERIOD
All portraits, canvases, frames, etc. are non-refundable. Orders cannot be cancelled due to the custom nature of the products. Orders are made to the Client’s personal specification, (i.e. image number, print size, frame style, etc.), the Client does not have the right to a cooling off period. By placing an order with Blissful Dreams Photography you are committing to buy the ordered products.
14) RETURNS POLICY
Incorrectly supplied items and items of poor quality can be returned and will be replaced at no extra charge to the Client. Returns will not be considered for incorrectly ordered items or items ordered in error.
15) CLIENTS OWN CAMERAS AND RECORDING DEVICES
Cameras, mobile phone cameras and camcorders are NOT permitted during any session without express permission from Blissful Dreams Photography.
